Membership Groups

ITAA offers membership in three distinct groups: ITAA’s Commercial Sector Group is focused on serving companies that sell predominantly into the commercial sector, while its Public Sector Group works with companies selling predominantly into the public sector (federal and state & local governments). Following ITAA’s merger with the Government Electronics and Industry Association (GEIA), we are also offering membership in our GEIA Group for the remainder of 2008. The GEIA Group of ITAA provides industry leading market forecasting and standards programs related to the federal government marketplace.

Public Sector Group

The Public Sector Group is a leading promoter of technology-enabled government at the federal, state, and local levels. Its members are a “who’s who” of government IT solutions providers from the large system integrators to small- and mid-sized companies. Commercial Sector Group

The Commercial Sector Group advances the IT industry’s interests before the industry vertical and consumer markets through elite networking and business development opportunities and provides top flight policy advocacy and market and business intelligence. GEIA Group

This group, which includes programs formerly part of the Government Electronics and Information Technology Association. Its offerings include forecasting programs for federal spending on information technology and electronics, which culminate in the annual Vision Conference. The group’s active standards development program provides the industry with proven solutions to business process challenges such as Configuration Management, Systems Engineering, Systems Safety, and Earned Value Management.
