International Defense Forum

Overview || Agenda || Speakers || Venue || Register || Contact

Overview

The 5th Annual Defense Strategic Planning Forum, to be hosted by TechAmerica Foundation at The University Club on February 25, 2010 is TechAmerica’s highly popular panel of defense industry strategists who will be offering their views on the latest DoD budget request and the major challenges facing the industry in the future. Please note the forum is not open to the press and is intended for industry contractors and government personnel only.

Topics

  • Now that the Obama Administration has been in place for over a year, what does the defense industry see as the Administration’s defense priorities going forward?
  • Does the soon to be released Quadrennial Defense Review capture those priorities and will it result in structural changes in defense policy or just “business as usual”?
  • Is the state of the economy going to impact future defense spending more than the threat?
  • What is the role of strategic planning going forward?
  • In addition, there will be ample opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.

Please note the forum is not open to the press and is intended for industry contractors and government personnel only.  All remarks are for non-attribution.
