Broadband Committee

E-Health Committee

The committee focuses on marketplace development and education, encouraging the healthcare community, information technology providers, employee groups, employers, payers, and government institutions to make better use of information technology resources. Chaired by Steve Brown of Health Hero Networks.

ICC iTV Council

The iTVC promotes the development and deployment of interactive and enhanced television technologies and related services in order to enhance the TV consumer experience. The iTVC provides member companies with a venue for the regular discussion of issues of common interest to the industry.

Internet Law Committee

Internet Policy Committee

Focuses on "content" policy issues, such as privacy and information regulation, government information policy and regulation of information service providers. The committee is responsible for ITAA's determining ITAA's policy positions on issues such as privacy and Spam.

Internet Safety Committee

Educates the marketplace about the value and effectiveness of Internet safety products & develops industry code of conduct to enable consumers to identify effective and reputable products.

Telecommunications Policy Committee

This committee focuses mainly on IP networks. A couple of it’s goals include extending the availability of next generation network IP applications by supporting policies that encourage deployment of IP-based technologies and ensuring the continued value of edge of the network broadband IP applications by urging the government to maintain a "hands off” approach to regulating the Internet and IP-based applications like Void and IP-based consumer premise equipment.
