Information Security

Keeping information systems safe and secure is a job that must be shared by government, industry and consumers. Unfortunately, there is no "silver bullet" to solve this complex challenge. On the contrary, the challenges of information security are constantly changing, often with those in the "bad actor" community able to operate with stealth, to share information about evolving technology and vulnerabilities, and to avoid prosecution by exploiting the differences in national approaches to cyber crime. Answers must come from stakeholders understanding their respective roles and working towards common goals, so that enterprise systems and home computers alike are hardened to withstand attack.
