Join ITAA

ITAA membership is open to any company with operations situated in the U.S. and offering commercial IT products and services. Companies eligible for full IT membership include firms with headquarters, division offices, or branch offices located in the U.S. as well as foreign firms with subsidiary operations in the U.S. In addition, ITAA offers affiliate membership to firms that sell business products and services to IT companies.

ITAA member companies pay annual dues for membership in the association. By paying dues, ITAA member company employees receive the opportunity to participate in ITAA programs, attend committee meetings, shape policy positions, contribute to industry white papers, join ITAA-sponsored Congressional visits and volunteer in related lobbying activities. ITAA members receive a variety of electronic publications and discounted opportunities to attend ITAA sponsored events and purchase business services.

The amount of member dues owed is based on corporate revenues. The ITAA membership dues scale is available here. Companies elect to which ITAA group they wish to belong and are welcome to join both groups by paying an additional 25% of their base dues. Base dues cover membership in core programs and a single group.

Upon joining ITAA, member companies designate a “key” and one or more “alternate” representatives to the association. These individuals act as a company’s primary interface to the association, receive ITAA correspondence, and, as necessary, represent their firm in various association votes and deliberations. In selecting key and alternate representatives, companies should carefully weigh their public policy and business development requirements. Designating key and alternate representatives does not preclude other employees of member firms from participating in ITAA activities or receiving the association’s communications.

ITAA members receive substantial value for their membership investment. ITAA enjoys an extremely high rate of member retention and has seen the size of its membership grow in each of the last nine years.
