About ITAA
The International Trial Attorneys Association publishes trial law news, commentary, and attorney profiles. We have operated at this address since December 2012.
What we cover
Our reporting follows civil litigation as it moves through American courts: mass tort and product liability dockets, personal injury and wrongful death, employment and disability claims, civil rights and constitutional questions, and the business of law itself. We write for people who want to understand what a decision actually held, not a press release about it.
How we work
Case reporting is written from primary sources wherever they exist — opinions, dockets, filed complaints, agency records. Where we rely on a firm’s own account of a result, we say so. Attorney profiles are editorial: we choose who to write about, the subject reviews nothing before publication, and no fee is charged or accepted for a profile.
We link out to the firms and attorneys we write about, and to the primary sources behind a story. Those links are there so a reader can check the work.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, we want to fix it. Write to us through the contact page with the URL and what you believe is inaccurate. Corrections are made on the page itself with a note of what changed.
